Tau Academy—an outdoor school that combines online learning with mountain expeditions. Our platform offers a range of courses, introducing beginners to various outdoor activities like rock climbing, multi-pitch climbing, traditional climbing and Ice climbing. For experienced enthusiasts, we provide advanced training to confidently venture into the mountains.
Our main objective is to make the mountains accessible and approachable. Online courses offer essential theoretical knowledge required for expeditions, empowering individuals to grow in their passion without being physically present in the mountains. Our courses also ensure that beginners feel more confident about their outdoor pursuits.

Goals
Create an Online Learning Platform: Our primary goal is to provide an accessible online platform where people can learn the theory of climbing from the comfort of their homes. By offering comprehensive online courses, we aim to prepare climbers for real mountain experiences, opening up the world of climbing to a broader audience.Hold Real Mountain Courses in the Tien Shan: Beyond the digital classroom, our second goal is to hold in-person courses in the Tien Shan mountains of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. We believe these regions are not only perfect for experienced climbers but also offer ideal environments for newcomers. Through our courses, we aim to showcase the beauty and potential of these underrated mountains, providing climbers with hands-on experience in a stunning and challenging environment.

Kirill Belotserkovskiy
A highly renowned mountaineer with over 20 years of experience and 15 years as an instructor, is recognized not only in the post-Soviet region but also as a prominent climber in Europe and the United States.
Kirill's articles have been featured in prestigious publications like the American Alpine Journal and Climbing Magazine, cementing his reputation as a respected figure in the global climbing community.

Alatau Guide
All of our offline courses are the result of a collaboration with Alatau Guide, a project created by Kirill Beletserkovskiy to provide mountaineering courses and adventures in Central Asia. Together, we aim to establish high-end courses for people of all skill levels, offering unique learning experiences in the incredible landscapes of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
